The compound was large, and had a wide variety of trees.some were tall and had rich foliage, while others were short, most of the trees different types of fruits which my brother and I love very much. My favorites tree however was in the center of the orchard,
it was a candy tree, it was very colorful and beautiful tree, but the most interesting things about it was that it bore different kinds of candies and sweets. Whenever we come back from school,we went to the candy tree to pluck lolly pops, chocolate sweets,bon-bons,malt sweet,gooy-goody, milk candy, tom-toms and other delicious candies. whenever there was rain this trees behaved strangely
t had the special ability to convert the water drops that passes through it,in to a very special ice-cream with a mixture of flavors.My brother DUKE and I always prayed for rainfall, so that we could enjoy the ice-cream from our special candy tree. We also discovered by chance,
that this special tree had the ability to make our wishes to come true.whenever we played too much and could not do our home work,we will just go to the candy tree, old her beautiful yellowish trunk and silently wish that the teacher would not punish us,it worked like magic for both my brother and I. When we forgot to go to the tree to make a wish,we got punised for going to school late,
or not wishing plates at home,or not doing our work.so DUKE and I made it routine to always go to our candy tree especially when we deserve to be punished for something we did, to make a wish and avoid punishment. At the end of the term,our school result was very poor, compared to our performance before we discovered tha the wish granting ability of our candy tree.Our teachers were bothered.our parents were even more bothered about our dismal performance,as soon as my mother
